Last year, HUAWEI surprised the tech world by launching the Mate 60 Pro with a 7nm 5G-capable Kirin 9000s chipset, SK Hynix RAM chips, and other components despite ongoing sanctions. As we anticipate its successor, tipster DigitalChatStation has revealed that the Mate 70 series will be delayed, with a launch in China expected in mid-to-late Q4 this year.
HUAWEI Mate 70 Series Delayed to Q4 2024

The upcoming HUAWEI Mate 70 series is set to feature several notable upgrades. According to the report, the new series will be powered by a more advanced Kirin 9100 chipset, offering improved performance and efficiency. The devices will sport a 1.5K LTPO OLED display with 3D face scanning technology, enhancing both visual experience and security.
One of the standout features will be the OmniVision OV50K sensor on the main camera, which will continue to offer a variable aperture for versatile photography. Additionally, the HUAWEI Mate 70 series will come with larger silicon batteries, increasing capacity beyond 5,000mAh for extended battery life.
Pokdepinion: One of the more promising devices for this year, I really hope when it arrives in Malaysia, it will have full 5G support. It’s gonna be tough given what happened with the Pura series, but that would make people more enticed in adopting one.
