Samsung Malaysia has just introduced its new range of 2021 UHD TVs. The new UHD TVs provide the ultimate immersive experience for all purposes – from work, entertainment and gaming to social communication. Among the Samsung UHD TVs introduced are the AU9000 and AU8000 Crystal UHD TVs and the AU7000 UHD TV.

Say hello to Samsung’s new 2021 UHD TVs

The Crystal UHD TVs (AU9000/AU8000) utilises Dynamic Crystal Color, which delivers lifelike images with every subtlety, through one billion shades of colour born in a pure state with fine crystal. These Crystal UHD TVs also feature an AirSlim design which has reduced more than half the depth of last year’s line of TVs, allowing for a more elegant and minimalist look to them.

Crystal Processor 4K also allows the viewer to enjoy every shade of colour as intended, by upscaling all content into 4K-level picture quality. The processor meticulously analyzes low-resolution videos scene-by-scene, adjusts colours, and enhances contrast and HDR. To top it off, Smart TV Powered by TIZEN enhances the overall viewing experience, giving users more ways to enjoy their TVs with instant content access and more ways to control and connect across their devices.

Apart from the Dynamic Crystal Color and Crystal Processor 4K, both the AU9000 and the AU8000 series models are equipped with Samsung’s Contrast Enhancer and High Dynamic Range features. The former analyses regions of each image and dynamically adjusts the contrast, resulting in an enhanced sense of depth and colour. Meanwhile, HDR increases the range of light levels on the TV, so users can enjoy an enormous spectrum of colours and all the visual details, in even the darkest scenes.

The Crystal UHD TVs also feature the Q-Symphony capability which allows TV and soundbar speakers to operate simultaneously for better surround effect without muting TV speakers.
Adaptive Sound offers audio scenic intelligence, optimising sound based on real-time scene analysis by content type. Additionally, the AU9000 comes with Object Tracking Sound Lite which delivers 3D surround sound enabled by two virtual top channel speakers created through Samsung’s AI algorithms.

The AU9000 also comes with gaming features such as Motion Xcelerator Turbo which enables smoother motions and clearer images through Samsung’s dynamic refresh technology, Auto Low Latency Mode with an input lag of just 5.8ms, and AMD FreeSync. Apart from that, the AU9000 also has Multi View which can display 4K video on up to 2 screens so users can catch content showing on their TVs and mobile on the screen at the same time.

Furthermore, Samsung’s entry-level AU7000 UHD TV offers many of the same picture and sound features found on the range-leading models. The AU7000 comes equipped with PurColor that delivers extremely rich and lifelike colours, thanks to the fine-tuned backlights and matching colour filters which optimizes picture quality to achieve more natural, accurate colour tones that stay crisp and vibrant. It also utilises the same Crystal Processor 4K as the AU9000 and AU8000 Crystal UHD TVs.

The AU7000 is also a capable Smart TV that is powered by TIZEN. It is also perfect for those who are looking for a quick display solution to enhance productivity while working and learning from home. The PC on TV function, secured by Knox, provides easy remote connection to access PCs and work or school resources from the home TV and is compatible with all Windows 10 OS devices.

Remote workers will enjoy the ability to share their screen quickly or display multiple documents on a bigger screen, by seamlessly extending their laptop screens onto the AU7000 TVs, turning it into a wireless dual monitor for your PC. The Tap View feature even allows users to connect their smartphones to the TV and enjoy seamless mirroring.
