Google Stadia Lets You Game at 4K 60FPS on Any Device with Google Chrome

As many of you might know by now, you can opt for a game streaming service instead of a gaming PC or console via Google Stadia. It lets you stream the gameplay up to 4K resolution to a variety of devices for as long as you are connected to the internet.

To attract gamers to join the service, Google has made a number of promises for the platform. Is Google Stadia capable of cross play as well as cross save from other consoles and PC?

Google Stadia Cross Play and Cross Save

In short, Google Stadia is capable of both cross play and cross save. However, it’s not as straightforward as it sounds. For starters, cross save is only supported on Destiny 2 at the moment. This is most likely because of the partnership with Bungie but they are  looking to work with other developers so that it can be enabled on as many games as possible.

So technically speaking, it is possible but not a feature that is widely available. Even then, there may be limitations when it’s implemented for certain games depending on the situation. This is most likely an issue just needs to be worked on with the developers. Hopefully in time, it will become a basic feature that’s supported for every game.
