Respawn Entertainment is said to be periodically reassessing their global pricing strategy to account for evolving economic conditions. As a result, starting from June 1, there will be adjustments to the prices of Apex Coins in certain currencies. It is important to note that these changes will only impact real money transactions, and the cost to acquire in-game cosmetics will remain unaffected.

While some currencies, including USD, EUR, JPY, HKD, INR, UAH, AED, and VND, will not experience any changes, others will see increases or reductions. These modifications aim to achieve a balance in prices across all currencies, enhancing the overall player experience.

In conjunction with the price adjustments, there will be a new in-game event called Threat Level. This event will be available from May 23rd to June 6th, offering players an exhilarating gameplay experience filled with challenges and rewards. If you are planning to purchase Apex Coins to acquire items for the Threat Level event, please take note of the rollout timing for the price adjustments.

For players intending to make purchases for the Threat Level event, it’s essential to be aware that the price adjustment rollout across all platforms will commence at 2AM PT / 5PM Malaysia time on June 1st and is expected to be completed by approximately 10AM PT / 1AM Malaysia time in the following day. This ensures a smooth transition and allows you to plan your transactions accordingly.

Pokdepinion: I am curious to see how significant of an increase / decrease we’ll see in Apex Legends. If it’s just minor, I’m sure most people won’t think too much about it, especially since they’re already quite generous with the free Apex Coins within the Battle Pass as of late.
