Genshin Impact 2.6: Yae Miko is Getting a Buff And It’s A Necessary One
It looks like Yae Miko is going to get a much needed buff in Genshin Impact 2.6, and it’s expected to make her much easier to play than before. Here’s what we know thus far.

Yae Miko has exploded in popularity in Genshin Impact. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a cute fox girl? However, she isn’t exactly the easiest to use, especially given the nature of her Elemental Skill. Soon, it’s expected to be fixed via update 2.6.
From what we understand thus far, the Electro attacks as a result of Sesshou Sakura will automatically target the nearest enemy. This will be a noticeable difference from the current one as it hits a random enemy instead. This isn’t particularly bad until it accidentally hits an enemy that is immune to Electro attacks. With this change, it will make her a more viable character to use as it will allow players to properly focus her attacks on enemies as they intended.
Update 2.6 for the game will be launching on 30th March 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is still in development.
Pokdepinion: This was a necessary change as hitting a random enemy isn’t fun. Then again, if your idea of fun is randomness, then sure, why not.
