ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and RTX 2070 SUPER out now

You can finally get the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER here in Malaysia. We can’t get the Founders Edition cards here, so you would have to get them from NVIDIA’s AIB partners. One of them is of course ASUS, with their ROG Strix lineup of GPUs.

New GPUs

ASUS’ ROG Strix GeForce RTX SUPER cards are priced as follows:

• ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER OC Edition: RM2200
• ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Advanced Edition: RM2999

The cards are offered with a 3+1 year extended warranty, and they are available now. In addition to that, NVIDIA is giving away copies of Control and Wolfenstein: Youngblood with every purchase of GeForce RTX GPUs and GeForce RTX laptops, which of course includes the GeForce RTX SUPER lineup as well.

New Drivers

NVIDIA also released the new 430.86 WHQL Game Ready Driver which improves performance in DirectX 12 games, with up to 31% improvement in Metro Exodus. The new driver also adds support for even more G-SYNC Compatible displays, with the LG 34GL750, HP 25mx and the HP Omen X 25f joining the list. There are new 32 G-SYNC Compatible displays in the market.

New Tool

For those who are interested in capturing more in-depth data about their GPU performance, you can also get FrameView. It even works with AMD graphics cards, which is pretty cool of NVIDIA. It can capture data from DirectX 9 to DirectX 12, OpenGL, Vulkan and even UWP applications.
