ASUS ZenFone 5z pricing announced at RM1767! Has ASUS just made the most affordable Snapdragon 845 device?
ASUS’ recent lineup of devices have really impressed us in terms of value for money. Finally returning to their roots of delivering the best value for money, the ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone Max Pro (M1) were definitely quite impressive at their respective price points. While the ASUS ZenFone 5z has yet to hit our shores, it has just been launched in India starting from Rs 29 999 (~RM1767.41).
In case you forgot, the ASUS ZenFone 5z shares its exterior with the standard ASUS ZenFone 5, but features vastly more powerful hardware within. The specifications list starts with a Snapdragon 845, followed by up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. For those who dig the iPhone X aesthetics, there is also a notch up front, and a vertical camera round back.
In India, the base model of the ZenFone 5z (6GB RAM + 64GB storage) is priced very affordably at Rs 29 999, while the higher end 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced just a bit higher at Rs 32 999 (~RM1944), while the top of the line 8GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 36 999 (~RM2180). This would make it the most affordable smartphone packing a Snapdragon 845 in the market!

As from hardware spec wise , Asus device here on par with other flagship. But hopefully on performance and handling it’s live on the expectations.
ASUS has never disappointed on either front yet, so here’s hoping it doesn’t disappoint us now
