Have you ever browsed a website and suddenly there’s a popup that asks whether you’d like to get notifications from the website? Of course you have. Well it seems that Google intends to give you the option to deny or ignore them.

The feature will come through the Chrome 80 update, where it simply shows the notifications have been blocked.

Despite hiding the popup, you can still be able to enable them, should it be your first time on the website itself.

You will be able to find the setting at the new “quieter messaging” section in settings.

As of now, the feature is only available on Beta, Dev, and Canary channels of the web browser.
