As we inch closer to the launch date of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs, more leaks have “magically” appeared. And it seems like the earlier leak of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER cards hinted at too high a price point, with the latest leak hinting at prices starting from as low as $399.

Just as previously leaked, there will be three NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER cards launching. And now we know more about the specifications thanks to a pretty detailed leak by Videocardz.

Aside from leaking out the prices and specifications of the latest GeForce RTX SUPER cards, the site also mentioned that the older GeForce RTX 2080 and GeForce RTX 2070 will be phased out of production. Which would be a somewhat interesting move as the older cards aren’t even a year old yet.

The AMD Radeon Navi lineup starts from $379 (~RM1568), with the AMD Radeon RX 5700 being up to 23% faster than a GeForce RTX 2060. As the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER offers more memory that’s also clocked faster and four more SMs (13% more cores) than the regular GeForce RTX 2060, it should be able to best the AMD Radeon RX 5700 easily. For just $20 more, it’s an almost no brainer to pick the NVIDIA card given that there’s DLSS and also RTX to play around with.

Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER is probably targeted to compete against the Radeon RX 5700 XT. The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER offers four additional SMs over the GeForce RTX 2070, and it is priced $50 higher than the Radeon RX 5700 XT. If NVIDIA clocks them high enough, once again we will see the GeForce RTX SUPER card pull ahead of the Radeon Navi GPU. But of course, this is pure speculation at this point.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER cards are expected to be announced on 2nd July, so stay tuned for more updates.

Pokdepinion: I am definitely looking forward to seeing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER cards! Pity the original GeForce RTX series users though.
