Razer Phone 2 Confirmed to be in Development
Gaming phones have been the craze in recent times, packing some powerful hardware and some interesting features such as 120Hz display. If you have been wondering what the gaming giant Razer has been up to since the release of the Razer Phone, then you’ve come to the right place.
In their official financial report for the first half of 2018, Razer has confirmed that the Razer Phone 2 is currently in development. To be precise, the following is what has been mentioned in page 7 of the report:
We are very pleased with the success of our first generation Razer Phone, which was released in a limited run and has garnered very positive reviews internationally.
We are now focusing our resources into the development of the second generation Razer Phone and accompanying software releases which will extend our software and services from PC into the mobile market.
It’s not a surprise that their foray into the smartphone market was a successful one, and it is something worth continuing. At the moment, we have no word yet as to when we can expect this device to come out, but I’m sure we’ll know a good chunk of it by the end of the year.
