Haier Malaysia Announces 43% Growth in 2024: New Fridge and Freezer Lineup Unveiled

Haier Malaysia has reported an impressive 43% growth in its total business for the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. Following this success, the company aims to enhance its product offerings with a new lineup of fridges and freezers, featuring advanced technologies designed to elevate home refrigeration standards and maintain food freshness for longer periods.

Elevating Refrigeration Standards with Haier’s New Lineup

Haier’s new lineup includes 12 models and variants, each designed to cater to diverse usage needs. This expansion aligns with Haier’s commitment to improving customers’ lives through their philosophy of “More Creation, More Possibilities,” delivering superior quality and greater convenience.

HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1 – The Flagship Mega Capacity Fridge

Leading the lineup is Haier’s flagship model, the HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1, equipped with innovative preservation technologies that keep food fresher for longer. The Fresher Shield technology minimizes heat transfer during defrosting, reducing temperature fluctuations and preventing food thermal shock. The Humidity Control System (HCS) maintains the freshness of perishables by preventing drying out and wilting through a split wet and dry zone.

Additionally, the fridge features the ABT PRO (anti-bacteria) module, which uses UV light and a photocatalyst filter to ionize air and decompose bacteria and odors, extending the shelf life of stored foods. The 4-door model boasts a 758L capacity, ample for organizing food and groceries while preventing cross-contamination. The surround lighting system and HaiSmart connectivity enhance both functionality and aesthetics.

The HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1 will be available from August for RM7,899.

Multi Door HRF 585 and 480 Series – Efficient Grocery Organization

For mid-sized homes, Haier offers the Multi Door 585 (HRF-IM585) in four variants and the Multi Door 480 (HRF-IM480) in two variants. The Multi Door 585 features a 529L capacity, while the Multi Door 480 offers 480L. Both models include a Magic Zone compartment with advanced ventilation and three temperature options, providing dedicated storage for various food types.

The Multi Door 585 model also includes a 95º Anti-tipping Bottle Holder and is available in glass or metal chassis with various color options. The Multi Door 480 model comes in piano black glass or gemstone blue metal chassis. Prices range from RM3,399 to RM4,399, with availability starting in August.

HWS-84G & 49G – Personal Wine Cellars

Haier’s new wine cellars, HWS-84G and HWS-49G, offer ideal storage conditions for wines. These models feature triple-layered glass doors that block harmful UV rays, maintain constant temperatures, and resist condensation. The HWS-84G can store up to 84 bottles and retails for RM5,499, while the HWS-49G holds 49 bottles and is priced at RM3,999.

HUR-181, 261, and 331NE Upright Freezers – Multipurpose Freezing Solutions

The new upright freezers, HUR-181NE, HUR-261NE, and HUR-331NE, provide a multi-level layout for easy organization and access. They feature Pro Frost-Free Cooling technology for uniform air circulation and high-efficiency compressors for quiet, power-efficient operation. These models retail at RM2,199, RM3,099, and RM3,699, respectively.
