AMD today officially launched the final two models of the RDNA3 lineup – the Radeon RX 7800 XT and the Radeon RX 7700 XT. Both cards aim for 1440p gaming, with 16GB and 12GB of VRAM respectively to meet the demands of video games with increased VRAM utilization. This launch also welcomes the new FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3) and HYPR-RX technologies, with frame-generation and one-click boosting baked into the latest AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition update.

The Radeon RX 7800 XT comes with 60 compute units (CUs), 16GB of 256-bit VRAM with 64MB of second-generation Infinity Cache, 2124MHz Game Clock, up to 2430MHz boost clock and rated at a TBP (total board power) of 263W. The Radeon RX 7700 XT meanwhile – as an AIB-exclusive model – gets 54 CUs, 12GB 192-bit VRAM with 48MB Infinity Cache, 2171MHz Game Clock, up to 2544MHz boost clock and is rated for 245W TBP.

AMD’s FSR3 will first see two games joining its portfolio, which includes Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum; the company stated that 10 more games (including Cyberpunk 2077) are joining in the coming months. HYPR-RX meanwhile consolidates AMD Radeon Super Resolution, Radeon Anti-Lag and Radeon Boost into a single one-click solution; on top of that, HYPR-RX also includes the improved Radeon Anti-Lag+ feature that takes account on each game’s characteristics to further cut down input latency times. All RX 7000 models will support this feature.

The Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT are set to be priced at RM2,499 and RM2,299 (base AIB models) respectively, and is now available from AIB partners including ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston.

Pokdepinion: RDNA3 is finally complete – for us geeks it’s probably time to wait for RDNA4 and see what AMD has in store next time around.
