NVIDIA is bringing another feature update to its app (simply called NVIDIA App), this time including the support for multi-monitor configurations with RTX HDR, expanded G-SYNC controls, driver rollback, and minor UI tweaks. The company has also announced that the NVIDIA App is aiming to fully replace NVIDIA Control Panel and GeForce Experience software by the end of the year.
NVIDIA App Updates

The app’s display settings has been expanded to include the new G-SYNC section, where you can activate the feature in two different modes, just like before. The remainder of unmigrated features like Surround options, custom resolutions, and multi-monitor setup to be carried over in future updates, NVIDIA said in its blog post.

Additionally, users who installed the new Game Ready Driver 565.90 WHQL will get access to the new multi-monitor RTX HDR feature, which can be accessed via Alt+Z > Game Filter section. RTX HDR takes any games with no HDR support and applies an HDR filter to enable greater contrasts in DX9, DX11, DX12, and Vulkan-based games.

On the user interface, the NVIDIA App now allows users to change the text color of the performance overlay; user sorting and filtering of games is now persistent and will not reset; and should anyone have issues with the newly-installed drivers, the app will now offer an option to rollback to the previous version as well.
Pokdepinion: Trying out this version as I’m writing this – hopefully most bugs have been ironed out by now.
