NVIDIA’s next-generation RTX 50 series GPUs (codenamed Blackwell) will arrive in Q1 2025, based on sources originated from Board Channels. Earlier reports indicate that flagships like RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will launch in January 2025, and latest rumors suggest that lower-end SKUs will follow in February and March next year.
NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Launch Dates

According to the forum post, NVIDIA will first launch RTX 5090 (5090D for Chinese markets) and RTX 5080 in January – announcement likely happens in CES 2025 – while RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 series will fall in February. March will see the launch of RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 SKUs, meaning the entire Blackwell lineup will be launched in the first quarter of 2025. Additionally, the user noted that SUPER variants (mid-cycle refreshes) are not planned for now.
There’s quite a few new names mentioned here, notably the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti – though nothing is known beyond the names, which can still be hypothetical at this point. All models will adopt DisplayPort 2.1 standard (first unveiled through Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs), and it’s reportedly the first lineup of GPUs to utilize the PCIe 5.0 standard.
