More leaks emerge pertaining to NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 50 “Blackwell” GPUs – this time leaker @kopite7kimi has published the alleged specs of the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. While both share similar names, the specs are almost entirely different.
RTX 5070 (Ti) Specs Leaked

So, what are the specs for these two cards? We compile all the known specs into this chart, along with their respective predecessors, for reference (note – we skipped SUPER cards as they count as a mid-cycle refresh):
Specs | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Silicon | GB203-300-A1 (Blackwell) | GB205-300-A1 (Blackwell) | AD104-400-A1 (Ada Lovelace) | AD104-250-A1 (Ada Lovelace) |
CUDA Cores | 8960 | 6144 | 7680 | 5888 |
Memory | 16GB GDDR7 256-bit | 12GB GDDR7 192-bit | 12GB GDDR6X 192-bit | 12GB GDDR6X 192-bit |
Max Power Draw | 300W | 250W | 285W | 200W |
Overall, the Blackwell cards are expected to see a power draw increase over their predecessors, though the CUDA cores are also increased by some amounts to increase their performance. The RTX 5070 Ti also sees increase in memory capacity, which is good news; though the non-Ti version retain the same 12GB capacity (albeit faster) that may limit its ability to handle large textures in games as they increasing demand more video memory to deliver ever-realistic visuals.
We don’t know when these cards will be announced yet, but if precedents are anything to go by – they should follow after the launch of RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 which is expected to be announced in CES 2025 in less than two weeks’ time.
Pokdepinion: Still 12GB – not sure if I like this one.
