Razer has introduced the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%, adding wireless connectivity, an integrated OLED display over the standard 75% model, on top of the existing features like hot-swappable keys.
Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%
The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, with Razer Orange Tactile Switches pre-installed by default, complete with doubleshot PBT keycaps. The chassis consists of the 5052 aluminum alloy top case, paired with gasket-mounted FR4 plate, two foam layers, and Krytox-lubricated screw-in stabilizers (as opposed to plate-mounted stabilizers from the original model), to reduce rattle and undesirable pinging noises.
Besides that, the keyboard features Razer HyperSpeed connectivity with 4000Hz wireless polling rate; it also includes Bluetooth 5.1 to connect up to three devices simultaneously. The built-in OLED display replaces the vanilla model’s media controls (with the rotary dial now moved to the side), and Razer says it offers up to 100 customizable modes ranging from volume controls to enabling brush mode in Adobe Photoshop (though you’ll need the new Razer Synapse 4 software for this one).
Razer says the keyboard’s 4200mAh battery is quoted to last up to 2100 hours with power-saving features enabled via the Fn+Esc shortcut key, and charging is done via a USB-C cable. Additionally, the keyboard includes a magnetic plush wrist rest for comfort in extended gaming sessions.
The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% is currently available for pre-order in select regions, with general availability set on 24 September onwards – it will be priced at $299.99, with no local pricing announced thus far.
