Maxis 5G Home Wi-Fi Announced, Three Plans Available

Maxis has launched new 5G Home WiFi plans, providing unlimited 5G connectivity for homes across the nation. For users seeking high-speed internet without the need for complex installations, the telecommunications company offers three plans, starting at RM69/month.

“We are delighted to introduce our new 5G Home WiFi plans, allowing more customers to enjoy a worry-free, plug and play 5G experience at greater value. Anywhere across Maxis’ nationwide network, customers can now stay connected with reliable connectivity for streaming, browsing, working or gaming at home. Thanks to the convenience of plug and play, users can enjoy instant 5G WiFi at home,” said Arjun Varma, Head of Maxis Consumer at Maxis.

Customers can choose from three plans: Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69, Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99, and Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139. The latter two plans, priced at RM99/month and RM139/month, respectively, provide unlimited 5G data with a complimentary top-tier 5G router supporting up to 30 devices simultaneously. A router is available as an optional add-on with a 24-month contract. Alternatively, customers can opt for the SIM-only plan starting from RM69.

Maxis also offers optional Data Pass add-ons at RM15 for 10GB of additional quota (4G/5G), valid for 30 days. All plans also include 30GB of 4G Backup data, in cases where 5G coverage is unavailable. Existing Home WiFi customers looking to transition to 5G can upgrade via the Maxis app or by calling 123.
