GXBank Introduces Exclusive Hari Raya Saving Pockets Campaign with Interest of 5% p.a.

For those unfamiliar, GXBank already offers a competitive interest rate of 3% p.a. on deposits, credited daily. However, during the Saving Pockets campaign, the enticing 5% p.a. interest rate is exclusively applicable to funds deposited within the Saving Pockets feature. It’s important to note that GXBank is a proud member of PIDM, ensuring account holders’ deposits are safeguarded up to RM250,000.

As of now, they have yet to unveil the full terms and conditions for this campaign. Details such as the minimum deposit requirement and potential maximum cap on accumulated interest remain undisclosed. However, with the campaign set to commence on the auspicious first day of Hari Raya, we can expect to learn more about it as we get closer to the launch date.

In case you missed it, GXBank recently introduced support for DuitNow QR, allowing users to seamlessly transact at merchants displaying the DuitNow QR code. Additionally, all GXBank users now have access to the GX Card, offering enticing perks such as 1% cashback and RM1 MEPS fee waivers until the end of 2024.

Pokdepinion: If you have money lying around, might as well put it in there. Sure, it’s not 5% for the whole year but it’s still a boosted rate for a full month. It would be more than the standard 3% you get on a daily basis with them and even less in conventional savings accounts.
