Gamers Hideout Announces God of War: Ragnarök Launch Event

This coming week – the hotly-anticipated PlayStation title, God of War: Ragnarök will officially launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 beginning November 9, 2022. In line with the game’s launch, Gamers Hideout has partnered with Sunway Pyramid and Play Interactive to hold the Launch Event.

Located at the LG2 Orange Avenue of the mall, the Launch Event will be held in two stages. First is the Midnight Launch – the event starts at 8th Nov 2022, 11:30PM to 1:30AM the next day. Then the Celebration Event, to be held on 10AM to 10PM in 9-13 Nov 2022, follows.

The Midnight Launch will allow gamers to purchase and collect their copy of the game at the launch time of 12AM, as well as celebrations in line with the title launch. Those who pre-ordered the game from Gamers Hideout are eligible to receive event-exclusive gifts, on top of the general pre-order bonuses from the game.

The event will feature a God of War: Ragnarök themed photo booth, open for all visitors to take photos throughout the event; The Best Photo Award will be also given for those who purchased the game through Gamers Hideout. One winner will be selected and will be given the limited-edition Sony PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller – God of War: Ragnarök Edition.

In addition, God of War: Ragnarök Jötnar Edition will be featured on display throughout the event – showcasing its unique selection of items specially designed by the developers of the game, Santa Monica Studio. However, as Gamers Hideout stated this is a “extremely limited allocation” – customers are to pick a ballot from the Lucky Draw box to be eligible for a chance to purchase this special edition of the game.

Special appearances include a cosplay of Kratos from the game to be featured in the event; the appearances is set to be during Midnight Launch event and for a limited time during the Celebration Event that follows.
