The ASUS ExpertCenter PN54-S1 is now the latest member of Taiwanese PC maker’s mini PC lineup, featuring AMD’s new-ish Ryzen 200 Series processors (which is more or less a rebrand of Ryzen 8000 models). While it’s not packing the latest-and-greatest hardware inside, the entire system is stuffed within an aluminum chassis just 0.6 liters in volume.

The ExpertCenter PN54-S1 has three processor options available: Ryzen 7 260, Ryzen 5 220, and Ryzen 3 210. Admittedly, the chipmaker’s latest naming system barely conveys useful information in model names these days, so allow me to translate. The Ryzen 7 260 is equivalent to Ryzen 7 8845HS with 8 “Zen 4” cores, whereas 220 and 210 matched the specs of Ryzen 5 8540U (2C+4c cores) and Ryzen 3 8440U (1C+3c cores) respectively.

All models are paired with up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory via two SO-DIMM slots, along with dual M.2 2280 SSDs, while the onboard Radeon 780M/740M graphics supporting up to four 4K display outputs. For general I/O, the PN54-S1 includes optional Wi-Fi 7, 2.5GbE LAN (dual-LAN configuration optional), as well as six USB ports, one of which is Thunderbolt-compatible USB4 port. There’s also a built-in fingerprint sensor for biometric logins, as well as a mono speaker and onboard mics for teleconferencing use.

ASUS says the ExpertCenter PN54-S1 mini PC will be available globally starting in the fourth quarter of 2025, though no pricing has been given at the time of this writing.
