At the OPPO Reno Summer Party held at The Nyaman Place Glamping in Kuala Lumpur earlier this week, OPPO has announced the new Reno16 512GB storage variant, alongside a limited-edition collaboration with classic cartoon character Pingu.
New OPPO Reno16 512GB Variant

The OPPO Reno16 12+512GB is available in two colourways: Twilight Violet and Pop White. The Pop White option features the brand’s 3D Pop Planet Design, which uses HoloVerse 3D Technology to create a floating planet visual effect on the rear cover. It is otherwise the same smartphone as you’ve seen during the Reno16’s initial launch, with a 6.32-inch display, three 50MP rear cameras, 6,700mAh battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, plus IP68/IP69K ingress protection ratings.
Alongside the new OPPO Reno16 variant, the brand has teamed up with Pingu, the beloved Swiss stop-motion animated penguin, for a limited-edition accessory collaboration – customers who purchase an OPPO Bubble (a magnetic accessory that features a small display which also acts as a camera viewfinder for the smartphone) will receive an exclusive Pingu-styled Bubble Case at no additional cost, available while stocks last.
Pokdepinion: A new storage tier and a Pingu case at a glamping event, because apparently 256GB and a plain box just weren’t summer enough.
