Home appliances brand RUBINE has had its EOS Series Water Heater officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the country’s thinnest instant shower water heater, with a profile of 45mm. Arguably a flex, but it’s no easy feat as the market for water heaters are quite competitive, so claiming this record certainly makes it stand out among others.

RUBINE EOS Series Goes Ultra-Thin

The EOS Series is built around the company’s proprietary Energy Optimisation System, which is designed to balance water flow and power consumption to reach a set shower temperature while limiting energy and water use. The series includes two models, EOS PRIME and EOS ULTRA SLIM.

Both models include a Double Protection, Double Thermal (DPDT) safety system, which isolates live and neutral electrical lines in the event of an anomaly, and a Dual Valve system designed to expel residual hot water from the chamber after use to reduce the risk of scalding for subsequent users. The units include a digital touch control panel with a Last Memory Function for returning to a previously set temperature.

Select models include a DC inverter pump designed to operate below 45 decibels while increasing water pressure, intended for use in high-rise residences or homes with inconsistent water flow. The EOS PRIME model additionally includes a built-in rain shower and hand shower function within a single unit.

Jwan Heah Yeow Hooi, Chief Operating Officer of the Malaysia Book of Records, said the certification process involved independent measurement and verification of the unit’s 45mm profile against the relevant category benchmark. “It reflects the caliber of engineering precision we look for, and we are pleased to recognize RUBINE’s achievement,” he noted.
