Lenovo has announced a new set of infrastructure solutions and services aimed at helping enterprises modernize their virtualized environments and build an AI-ready foundation. The expanded portfolio centers on the Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4, updated Lenovo Infrastructure Deployment Services with three structured tiers, and an expanded range of Lenovo Express Solutions covering leading virtualization and hybrid cloud platforms.
Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4 & Virtualization Infrastructure
The Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is purpose-built for highly virtualized enterprise environments and demanding in-memory workloads. It is designed to support both structured and unstructured data, giving organizations a foundation for consolidating critical workloads. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into enterprise workflows, the VX850 V4 is positioned to support both current business-critical applications and future capacity needs.
Alongside the new hardware, Lenovo is expanding its Lenovo ThinkSystem Storage and Lenovo ThinkAgile HCI solutions to support disaggregated infrastructure, integrated data protection, and scalable AI workloads. Cyber resilience capabilities are also built in to assist with ransomware recovery, recovery planning, and operational continuity.
For infrastructure management, XClarity Controller 3 and XClarity One use standards-based management to help customers integrate, automate, and operate infrastructure more consistently, reducing the risk of vendor lock-in as organizations evolve their virtualization strategies.
Infrastructure Deployment Services & Express Solutions
The updated Lenovo Infrastructure Deployment Services portfolio introduces three clearly defined tiers: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus. All three include a structured readiness foundation and expert hardware installation. Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus extend this with implementation and operational handoff support for more complex projects.
Premier Deploy Plus further adds extended post-deployment assistance and a one-year infrastructure health assessment to help customers identify issues early, excluding DE Storage Array configurations. The tiered structure is intended to give customers a clearer path to production-ready operations based on their project complexity and internal IT capabilities.
On the software side, the expanded Lenovo Express Solutions portfolio under the Lenovo Top Choice Express program provides pre-validated infrastructure configurations that pair Lenovo hardware with major software platforms. The validated solutions now cover Microsoft Hyper-V Ready Solutions and Windows Server, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Solutions, Microsoft Azure Local with Lenovo ThinkAgile MX V4, Lenovo ThinkSystem with Nutanix Compute Cluster, and SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4.
Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Solutions enable organizations to run and manage virtual machines alongside containerized applications on a unified platform. The Microsoft Azure Local option allows customers to run virtualized, AI, and cloud-native workloads across distributed and hybrid environments with Azure management. The Nutanix Compute Cluster configuration offers independent compute scaling and improved operational efficiency.
