ASUS Malaysia has announced the ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle, and only 30 units will be available nationwide – the bundle pairs the ROG XBOX Ally X20 handheld with ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, a dbrand Killswitch case, and a custom Pelican Protector Case. Pre-orders is now open until 15 October 2026.
ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 itself commemorates ROG’s 20th anniversary with a translucent black chassis and vibrant gold internal structure. Like the regular ROG XBOX Ally X, It is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, though unlike the said model, the X20 actually features a slightly bigger 7.4-inch Nebula HDR OLED panel with a 1400-nit peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and FreeSync Premium Pro with variable refresh rate. A big upgrade over the 7-inch IPS from before, that is.
The display isn’t the only upgrade either: joysticks now use TMR sensors for power-saving and improved resolution, D-pad has a mode switch that allows 4-direction or 8-direction mode (for fighting games), face buttons now comes with lighter actuation and sits flush when fully pressed which makes it easier for thumbs to glide across them, grips now come with new anti-slip texture, and impulse triggers deliver haptic feedback to the user to confirm controls are registered.
Aside from that, the handheld ships with 24GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD, which ROG notes is user-upgradeable; Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB4 port with DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 compatibility, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a microSD Express card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. An 80Wh battery powers the device, and the unit weighs 756g.
The dbrand Killswitch case included in the ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle is a custom-designed protective case featuring a kickstand, ruggedized grips, and gold-and-black accents aligned with the 20th anniversary theme. A circuit board-pattern skin for the face of the device, joystick covers with the ROG logo, and a 68W charger are also part of the package. The custom Pelican Protector Case sports red ROG latches and an exclusive 20th anniversary badge, designed to house the handheld and all accessories securely during transport.
The bundled ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses connect to the ROG XBOX Ally X20 via a single USB Type-C cable. They feature Sony Micro OLED panels at 1920×1080 resolution per eye, a 120Hz refresh rate (240Hz with Frame Rate Boost), 700-nit peak brightness, and a virtual screen size of up to 171 inches at four meters. The glasses support 3DoF tracking, electrochromic dimming with three tint levels, Bose audio with noise-cancelling microphone array, and carry TUV certifications for flicker-free and low blue light performance.
Availability
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle is priced at RM10,999 and is strictly limited to 30 units nationwide – pre-orders can be placed at the official ROG pre-order page from 2 October through 15 October 2026.
