TrendForce reported that the global DRAM module market generated approximately $21.2 billion in revenue in 2025, a 59% year-on-year increase and a sharp acceleration from the 7% growth recorded in 2024. The expansion was driven by rising DRAM prices and stronger shipment volumes in the second half of the year. Kingston’s own revenue grew 48% year-on-year in 2025, a performance TrendForce noted is particularly significant given that the top five DRAM module suppliers combined accounted for only 77% of total market revenue, with Kingston alone representing close to two-thirds of that share.

The market underwent a notable shift during the year. Early in 2025, DRAM module manufacturers built up DDR4 inventory in response to tariff concerns and suppliers’ plans to phase out DDR4 products. Later in the year, rising demand from cloud service providers supporting agentic AI workloads significantly increased server DRAM consumption, which reduced DRAM allocation available for PC and consumer applications and contributed to higher memory prices. This shift reinforced enterprise, datacenter, and AI infrastructure as the primary drivers of memory demand, segments in which Kingston has been expanding its B2B business.

Kingston’s Procurement Scale And B2B Focus Supported Growth

Kingston’s procurement scale allowed the company to manage inventory strategically throughout 2025, positioning it to support channel demand as DRAM pricing strengthened in the latter half of the year. TrendForce also observed that DRAM module manufacturers increasingly focused on industrial and enterprise server markets during 2025 while accelerating their transition to DDR5-based product portfolios. Kingston’s B2B business grew as enterprise, datacenter, and industrial customers increasingly relied on the company for supply continuity, validated solutions, and long-term support.

Kingston’s product portfolio spans DDR4 to DDR5 solutions for business-critical environments, covering client PCs, gaming systems, servers, datacenters, AI infrastructure, and industrial, embedded, surveillance, and automation systems. The company said its B2B business has become a “key growth engine”, as customers increasingly depend on Kingston for supply continuity and validated solutions across memory applications.

Pokdepinion: A 62% market share for 23 years straight is the kind of dominance most brands can only dream about.
