Meet The THX-certified And Noise-cancelling Razer Opus Headphones
Just recently, the folks at Razer unveiled something that… well to lightly put it, doesn’t look like any of their products. The product we’re talking about is indeed te new Razer Opus headphones.
Razer Opus
For this headphone, Razer has partnered up with THX and here’s what Peter Vasay had to say about the Razer Opus.
The result is a high-performance wireless headphone that delivers a rich, balanced soundstage, clear vocals, and deep impactful bass optimized for music, games, and movies.
Peter Vasay, Head of THX Certification
In a single charge, the Razer Opus is said to last 25 hours of playback with ANC turned on, which is rather impressive. Other than that, it comes with 40mm drivers, wear detection, Bluetooth 4.2, as well as support for AAC, aptX, A2DP, AVRCP and HFP codecs. Oh let’s not forget about the glorious 3.5mm headphone cable support.
For the noise-cancellation, it seems that Razer utilizes a thing called Advanced Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation system, which uses quad microphones.
The price? Well Razer has put the Razer Opus at a $199 (~RM866) at their own website. There’s the case, 3.5mm headphone cable, USB-C cable, airplane adapter, as well as a USB-C to USB-A adapter included with the headphone itself.
Pokdepinion: Honestly I’m quite interested to see (or hear in this case) how well it sounds like. Will we see it arrive here in Malaysia?
