The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024 officially launched today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), marking its milestone 10th edition. Organized by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., the event runs under the visionary theme “Beyond Mobility.”

Officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, KLIMS 2024 serves as a platform to showcase the nation’s commitment to sustainable and innovative mobility solutions. YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport, also graced the occasion, underscoring the exhibition’s national importance.
In his opening remarks, YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah highlighted Malaysia’s efforts to lead the region in sustainable transportation, stating:
“With initiatives like the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the development of 3,171 EV charging stations nationwide, Malaysia is paving the way for a greener future. KLIMS accelerates this vision, fostering collaboration and innovation to benefit all.”

KLIMS 2024 is a hub for the latest advancements in sustainability, electrification, and autonomous mobility. From electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen-powered innovations to autonomous driving solutions, the exhibition encapsulates the transformative trends shaping the automotive industry. Notable highlights include:
- GWM unveiling the luxurious WEY 80 and rugged Tank 500.
- Perodua debuting the futuristic EMO-II concept car.
- Honda captivating with the return of the iconic Prelude.
- Proton showcasing the S70 R3 team car fresh off the Sepang 1000KM race.
Other prominent brands, such as Toyota, Nissan, KIA, Mazda, MG Motor, Mitsubishi, Royal Enfield, and Xpeng, introduced their latest innovations, from hybrids to electric SUVs, making KLIMS 2024 a comprehensive showcase of mobility’s future.
Mohd Shamsor Bin Mohd Zain, President of MAA and Chairman of the KLIMS 2024 Organising Committee, emphasized the event’s significance:
“KLIMS 2024 is more than just an automotive exhibition; it reflects the resilience and forward-thinking nature of Malaysia’s automotive sector. The theme ‘Beyond Mobility’ demonstrates our dedication to sustainable transportation and regional leadership.”

With over 800 attendees at the grand opening, KLIMS 2024 promises a week filled with innovation, exclusive product previews, and exciting activities.
