Local carmaker Proton has introduced the interior of the Proton e.MAS 7, Malaysia’s first national electric vehicle, at the Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2024. The company has also officially opened the order book for the upcoming electric crossover.
Proton e.MAS 7 Interior Revealed

The Proton e.MAS 7 is available for booking at an estimated price of RM120,000; for early adopters, the automaker is offering a Pioneer Privilege Deal that includes a RM500 rebate and a RM1,000 gift pack, available from October 26 until the official launch of the vehicle. Additionally, e.MAS App has been introduced which allows users to manage bookings, schedule vehicle services, and access Malaysia’s EV charging network.

Specs-wise, the both the Prime and Premium versions of e.MAS 7 will produce 160kW (215hp) of power and 320Nm of torque, converting to a 0-100 km/h figure of 6.9 seconds; depending on the variant, you have the choice of 49.5kWh or 60kWh battery capacity that can run up to 345km and 410km respectively under the WLTP range tests. Wheelbase is measured at 2,750mm, with the entire chassis measuring 4,615mm in length, 1,901mm in width, and 1,670mm in height.
In the meantime, the Proton e.MAS 7 will continue its national tour in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur as its official launch nears, set to be held within this year. The tour has covered over 3,200km in the first half of the journey, according to the carmaker’s press release.
