The Neta X EV SUV has officially launched in Malaysia with a “soft launch” at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. This all-electric SUV comes in three variants: 400 Comfort, 400 Luxury, and 500 Luxury, with an estimated price range of RM119,900 to RM139,900. The Neta X stands out with its impressive dimensions, measuring 4,619 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,628 mm in height, supported by a 2,770 mm wheelbase. This makes it larger than its competitors, the Atto 3 and Omoda E5. It is equipped with automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It is available in five color options: Jet Black, Glacier Blue, Sky Grey, Amber Brown, and Pearl White.

All variants are powered by a single-motor front-wheel drive (FWD) setup, producing 163 hp and 210 Nm of torque. The 400 Comfort and 400 Luxury variants feature a 52.49 kWh battery pack, offering an NEDC-rated range of 401 km. The 500 Luxury variant boasts a larger 64.14 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 480 km. Charging the Neta X using the onboard 6.6 kW AC charger takes about 9 hours to fully charge from flat. Using a DC fast charger, it can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Inside, the Neta X offers leather upholstery and a digital instrument cluster as standard. It features a Full HD 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 system-on-a-chip (SoC). The 500 Luxury variant includes additional features such as a driver’s seat with memory and welcome functions, and wireless charging.

The 500 Luxury variant is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), and Intelligent Cruise Assistance (ICA). It also includes High Beam Assist (HBA), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), and Emergency Lane Keep System (ELKS).

Early birds who book a Neta vehicle during Malaysia Autoshow 2024, from May 22 to 26, will enjoy exclusive benefits. These include double booking value, a Neta merchandise bag, and a choice between a complimentary wall box or one year of free charging at any ChargEV station. Customers who book the Neta V will also receive a lifetime warranty on the battery, motor, and motor control unit (MCU), along with rewards up to RM24,300 through the Neta Loyalty Program and one year of free charging at any ChargEV station.

Pokdepinion: I’m okay with the size but I personally wished that it was a little bit taller. That way we get slightly better road visibility, which is something I value very highly.
