The HERO13 Black introduces several features, including magnetic latch mounting, GPS capabilities, and a 10% larger Enduro battery for longer runtimes. It also supports four interchangeable HB-Series lenses, automatically detected by the camera to adjust settings for different shooting modes such as ultra-wide POV, macro with variable focus, anamorphic cinematography, and smart motion blur with ND filters.

Meanwhile, the new HERO is GoPro’s smallest camera at just 86g and 35% smaller than the HERO13 Black. It combines 4K resolution (or 2.7K 60FPS) with a simplified user interface; despite its small size, it remains capable of withstanding extreme conditions that includes water resistance up to 5 meters, and a maximum runtime of 100 minutes on a single charge.

For pricing and availability, the HERO13 Black is priced at RM1,999, with optional accessory bundles and the Creator Edition now available. The HERO, priced at RM999, is set to launch on September 22 (pre-orders are now open). One exception, though, is the Anamorphic Lens Mod, which GoPro says will be available in 2025 instead.

Pokdepinion: I like the lens feature, that should save plenty of time to readjust camera settings.
