Acer Malaysia has launched its latest TravelMate series, including the TravelMate P6 14, TravelMate P4 14, TravelMate P4 Spin 14, and TravelMate P2 14 laptops. These devices include the TravelMate Sense application which centralizes AI features; it also includes Secure Guard for quick disabling of USB devices and encryption of confidential files, and a Checkup feature to monitor system health and optimize battery usage.
New Acer TravelMate Laptops
The Acer TravelMate P6 14 is a lightweight, 1.2kg premium business laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 7 165H processor, 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD, and up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory. The company offers two configurations for the local market: one with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a FHD+ 60Hz non-touch panel, and the other with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a FHD+ 60Hz touch panel.
Meanwhile, the TravelMate P4 series are available in convertible (P4 Spin 14) and clamshell (P4 14) designs. Despite sharing similar names, the specs vary a fair bit: the convertible offers Intel Core Ultra 7 155U, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of SSD; as for the clamshell model, its specs are taken down a notch with the Raptor Lake-based Core 5 120U, 8GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD. Finally, the TravelMate P2 14 is aimed for cost-effectiveness, though it’ll pack up to Core 7 150U, 8GB DDR5, and 512GB SSD for good measure.
For pricing, the Acer TravelMate P6 14 is priced at RM7,999 for the touchscreen variant and RM7,599 for the non-touchscreen option. The TravelMate Spin P4 14 is priced at RM6,199, the TravelMate P4 14 at RM4,799, and the TravelMate P2 14 ranges from RM3,799 to RM4,799.
Acer CS272 Smart Monitor
Alongside the latest TravelMate series laptops, the CS272 smart monitor is also introduced today. The 27-inch CS272 features a FHD IPS panel, and it eliminates the need for a PC for conference calls or multimedia access, while supporting USB webcams for video conferencing. The monitor also allows remote work by controlling a work PC via an IP network. For entertainment, it offers WebOS as the operating system, plus Apple AirPlay, Miracast, and screen mirroring support. Available now, it retails for RM999.
