Acer Swift 14 AI Announced, First Copilot+ PC From The Brand

The first Copilot+ PC from Acer is here in the form of Swift 14 AI, featuring the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X series SoCs. The company offers two processor options, including the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 (8P+4E, 12 cores) and the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 (6P+4E, 10 cores).

Both chips will be mated to as much as 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD; elsewhere, you can find a 14.5-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) 16:10 IPS panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color gamut, with optional touchscreen capability. Above the display, you can find the 1440p webcam with integrated privacy shutter and a trio of microphones. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity; Acer quotes 16 hours of battery life via its 75Wh battery, which supports fast charging.

One unique feature this laptop gets is the slightly altered design from the standard Swift 14 chassis, now featuring an “AI icon” on the cover (top left), as well as an “Activity Indicator” that illuminates the touchpad depending on system activity, such as during boot or when Copilot is activated. Other AI features are housed within the AcerSense app under the Experience Zone section, accessible via a dedicated hotkey.

No word on local pricing yet, but Acer has announced the US pricing of $1,099 when it is available in July, while EMEA regions can purchase one for EUR 1,499 starting this June.
