The Acer Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 are the stars of the new Acer Swift laptop line. Both feature OLED displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio, but the Swift Go 16 has a larger, 16-inch display with a higher resolution of 3200 x 2000 and a faster refresh rate of 120Hz. The Swift Go 14 has a slightly smaller, 14-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Both laptops are powered by Intel’s 13th-generation processors, including options for U-series and H-series models, which offer strong performance and a battery life of over 9.5 hours. They also come with the Intel Movidius VPU and support Intel Unison, allowing you to easily connect your smartphone to your PC. The laptops are equipped with the TwinAir cooling system and can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.

A standout feature of the Acer Swift Go laptops is the PurifiedView suite of video tools, which are powered by the 1440p webcams above the display. These cameras provide options like background blur, auto framing, and eye contact. The Acer Swift Go laptops are also slim and lightweight, measuring 14.9mm in thickness and weighing 1.3kg for the 14-inch model and 1.6kg for the 16-inch version. They have a good selection of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader, in addition to USB Type-A.

The Acer Swift Go 14 will be released in Europe starting at €999 and in North America starting at USD $849.99 in May 2023. The Swift Go 16 will be released in Europe starting at €1,099 in March and in North America starting at USD $799.99 in June 2023.

Pokdepinion: The Swift Go 16 looks to be quite feature-packed, but I’m personally curious about its thermals. I want to see how loud it can get, and how well it can really cool down the machine.
