It’s among the lightest workstation laptops HP has to offer.

HP introduces the new ZBook Firefly G10 mobile workstation – as part of the Firefly sub-family, this is among the lightest ZBook models HP has ever produced, starting at just 1.45kg. The 14-inch laptop now comes packed with up to Intel’s 13th Gen Core i7-1370P vPro CPU, though AMD’s Ryzen PRO equivalents are on the way at a later date.

The laptop is expected to feature multiple configurations, though HP lists the maximum configuration available as NVIDIA RTX A500 Laptop GPU, with 64GB DDR5-5200 RAM (non-ECC), 2TB SSD and ISV certification to ensure optimal reliability on the most demanding of workstation applications.

Display-wise, it can be optioned with 14-inch 16:10 QHD+ HP DreamColor display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 500 nits brightness and 120Hz refresh rate; though alternatively it can be configured with touch panel or privacy displays. The I/O features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen 1, 5Gbps), optional nano-SIM slot (with 5G support), optional smart card reader, HDMI 2.0 and headphone jack. The battery is a relatively small 51Wh unit which can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes using the 65W adapter.

Local pricing hasn’t be announced just yet – though HP has started taking orders for this particular model. The website also listed AMD versions, which should arrive at a later date.

Pokdepinion: I somewhat expected it to use ECC RAM – turns out not the case apparently.
