Android 12 Beta available for Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i and Mi 11X Pro

Google has just announced Android 12, and if you are excited about the new features that it brings, you can experience it on your Xiaomi device now. Xiaomi has announced the Android 12 Developer Preview Program for the Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i and Mi 11X Pro.

It is definitely worth mentioning that this is still in beta, so bugs are to be expected. In fact, Xiaomi has listed down a list of known bugs for all the devices included in the Android 12 Developer Preview Program. This includes stuff like being unable to make emergency calls and inaccurate touch sensing, so do think twice before installing the update.

Xiaomi recommends performing a backup of your data before installing the Android 12 Beta build on your device. You can then download the appropriate build for your Mi 11 device and install it via fastboot. You can always revert back to your original ROM if you want to via the fastboot mode as well.
