The standard model is rumored to sport an LTPO display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, similar to what many Android flagships have offered for the past couple of years. This enhancement might allow Apple to introduce Always-on Display support, although it could be reserved for the Pro models. Additionally, the iPhone 17 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and the new A19 chip.

For the Pro variants, it will reportedly include the A19 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, and a triple 48 MP camera setup consisting of wide, telephoto, and ultrawide lenses.

The previously rumored iPhone 17 Slim, which might also use the Ultra moniker, is expected to be a completely redesigned, ultra-thin model. This could introduce a new design language that may extend to the rest of the lineup in 2026.
