Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 event in London on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, where the company is set to reveal its next generation of Galaxy devices. The global announcement will be livestreamed beginning 22 July at 9PM Malaysia Time across Samsung’s official channels.
Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 Revealed
Samsung has not revealed specifics about which devices will be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked July 2026, though the event teaser references “a new shape unfolding”, basically confirming new foldable smartphones under the Galaxy Z lineup. Specifically, we could be looking at the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra – the former is rumored to be the passport-style model acting as the base model, while the latter inherits the existing book-style form factor from previous generations.
All eyes will be looking at the redesigned base model, which allegedly features a 7.6-inch 4:3 aspect ratio inside, with a 4,800mAh battery onboard, 45W fast charging, and 201g weight – about the same as regular slab-style smartphones. One of the two rear cameras onboard is a 50MP sensor with native 24MP mode support, according to Ice Universe. Both models will feature overclocked versions Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoCs (with “for Galaxy” branding), which isn’t a surprise.
Malaysians can register their interest between 8 and 22 July 2026 for a chance to win prizes worth up to RM62,944.
