Samsung Malaysia has announced a revision to the recommended retail prices (RRP) of the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, effective 7 September 2026.
As expected, the company attributed the change to continued increases in global component costs such as RAM and NAND (responsible for memory and storage), which are used across a wide range of consumer electronics. Samsung said it has “continued to make every effort to absorb these rising costs and minimize the impact on consumers,” but sustained cost pressures across the industry made the price adjustment “necessary.”
Revised Pricing For Galaxy A57 & Galaxy A37
While the pricing trend generally points upwards, not all is bad this time around: Samsung has maintained pricing for the 12+256GB version of Galaxy A57, as well as the 8+256GB variant of the Galaxy A37; and surprisingly, the 8+256GB of Galaxy A57 even gets a decent RM220 price cut from before. That leaves both top configurations in their respective models with RM200 increase in RRP as a result of rising component prices.

If you intend to purchase these two models with the affected pricing, Samsung is giving you until 7 September to purchase where current pricing remain applicable.
Pokdepinion: Well, at least the Galaxy A57 8+256GB gets cheaper, so there’s that.
