According to the report, Samsung will continue its dual-pronged approach by utilizing both Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and its in-house Exynos 2500 chipsets in the Galaxy S25 lineup. However, specific details regarding the distribution of these chipsets across different models remain undisclosed.

It’s anticipated that Samsung will maintain a similar strategy to the current lineup, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra likely to exclusively feature the Snapdragon chipset, while the standard and Plus models may offer a choice between Snapdragon and Exynos variants depending on the region.

Although an earlier rumor suggested that the Galaxy Z series would exclusively adopt Snapdragon chips, recent speculation hints at the possibility of the Galaxy Z Flip6 incorporating the Exynos 2400 chipset. With the impending unveiling of the Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 models, Samsung’s chipset decisions are under scrutiny. The inclusion of the Exynos 2500 chipset in the Galaxy S25 series suggests a vote of confidence in its performance and efficiency enhancements over its predecessor, the Exynos 2400.
