Leak Suggests Sony Xperia 1 III Will Have Snapdragon 888, 4K OLED 120Hz Screen
A recent leak on Twitter is pointing towards some of the alleged specifications of the Sony Xperia 1 III. According to the leak, the successor to the Sony Xperia 1 II is said to feature a Snapdragon 888 chipset which is to be expected from a flagship device like this.

The leak also mentioned that the Sony Xperia 1 III will come with an outrageous 6.5-inch OLED display with 4K resolution, HDR support and 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the Xperia 1 III is said to feature 8GB RAM as well as 256GB of internal storage. The device will also come with 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as IP65/IP68 water and dust resistance.
The leak also features what could be the retail price of the Sony Xperia 1 III. The phone is said to retail at USD1,199 (RM4,856.25) which around a hundred bucks more than what the Sony Xperia 1 II launched at. So far the leak did not disclose what other specifications the Xperia 1 III might come with. I guess we’ll have to wait and see until more information gets leaked out.
Pokdepinion: 4K resolution screen! I wonder how battery life would that thing guzzle off the phone. Gonna need a big battery then.
