vivo Malaysia officially secured a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Most Nations Participating in a Telephoto Photography Session” criteria – not the most conventional record you’ll see, but the company pulled this off during its vivo X200 Series Photography Experience Session in collaboration with Miss Tourism International (MTI).
New Certified Record With vivo X200 Series
The event was hosted at vivo Concept Store in Sunway Pyramid, and brought together over 40 participants representing various nationalities who were given the opportunity to try out the smartphone’s 200-megapixel ZEISS APO camera system, which the smartphone maker touts as the “Ultimate Concert Smartphone” for its zooming capabilities.
The achievement was acknowledged by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi (President of Miss Tourism International) and Christopher Wong (CEO of Malaysia Book of Records), and Raymond Teoh, Brand Manager of vivo Malaysia, received the recognition plaque on behalf of the company.
The vivo X200 Pro is also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with vivo V3+ imaging processor, a 6,000mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W fast charging, and currently comes in a single 16+512GB configuration available now at RM4,699. Meanwhile, the standard model comes with a slightly smaller battery, older V2 imaging chip, and lacks the 200MP main sensor found in the Pro model. This model is currently priced at RM3,599.
Pokdepinion: Pretty unconventional record, but it’s a record after all, right?
