Xiaomi Redmi Go Lands In Malaysia At RM299
Xiaomi’s first Android Go device, Redmi Go, is now available in Malaysia and perfect for those who don’t want to spend a fortune for a smartphone.
The Redmi Go offers a 5-inch HD display. Powering it up is a Snapdragon 425 chipset and a 3000mAh battery under the hood. As for cameras, it sports on a 5MP selfie shooter on the front and a 8MP rear camera that’s accompanied by an LED flash.
There’s two SIM card slots available and a dedicated microSD slot that supports up to 128GB of storage. Redmi Go will be available in a single configuration of 1GB+8GB and in Black.
One of the key features of the device is that it is an Android Go smartphone, where it is supposed to make the phone run app smoothly despite the lacking of specifications. Redmi Go runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) straight from the box and will be available for just RM299.
If you are interested in the device, you can get it at Mi Stores, Shopee, and Lazada starting from 13th of April 2019.
Pokdepinion: I know the phone won’t excite much users but hey, considering the price, I’d say that it’s not bad. I definitely can see myself using it as my backup phone.
