HUAWEI Band 9 Introduced As The Company’s Latest Smart Band Entry

HUAWEI has introduced the HUAWEI Band 9, the latest addition to its smart band lineup. The smart band weighs just 14g with a thickness of 8.99mm, sporting a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 65% screen-to-body ratio, while the fast-charging-capable battery is rated to last up to 2 weeks on full charge.

The band’s fluoroelastomer straps provide a soft touch for the wearer’s comfort, while the double buckle design and quick-disconnect system allow for easy customization. Meanwhile, the Blue strap uses breathable jacquard weave made from anti-bacterial nylon yarn for its hygienic characteristics.

Introduced alongside HUAWEI Band 9 is HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0, the new sleep-tracking system offering insights into sleep quality and Sleep Breathing Awareness for early sleep apnea detection. HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5 enhances heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring accuracy, by utilizing “a new high-efficiency photoplethysmography (PPG) optical detection module combined with a multi-channel fusion algorithm.”

For fitness enthusiasts, the band offers over 100 workout modes, improved Activity Rings 2.0, and the proprietary HUAWEI TruSport algorithm providing comprehensive data and insights for various activities. It also comes with features like HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY for quick access to essential information and the Calendar App for efficient scheduling.

Available in Starry Black, White, Lemon Yellow, Charm Pink, and Blue, the HUAWEI Band 9 is now open for pre-orders on the official website, Shopee, and Lazada until April 3, 2024, with a price of RM219.
