Last month we revealed that the dates of this summer’s Steam Sale had been leaked by some user on Reddit via a purported screenshot that was taken from a Steamworks group, which is only meant for developers. The leak revealed that this year’s Summer Steam Sale will start on June 22 to July 5.

Turns out that the leak is indeed true as it has been announced that this year’s Steam Summer Sale will start on June 22 (June 23 our time) and will end on July 5. Which means that it’ll only be a two week affair. Steam Sales are probably the most anticipated periods ever to happen in the gaming world with the Steam Summer Sale being the biggest and most anticipated one. This is the time when you can get some of your favourite PC games at an extraordinarily cheap price. It’s also the time where gamers sometimes pick up obscure and unheard of games just because they’re, well, cheap.

So get your wallets out gamers and buy buy BUY.
