Team MAG And Unsigned5 Secure Spots For APAC Predator League 2025

Team Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) and Team Unsigned5 emerged victorious in the Malaysia Qualifier Finals of the Predator League 2025, earning the right to represent Malaysia in the regional tournament scheduled for January 11-12, 2025.

Predator League 2025 Teams Now Locked In

In the Dota 2 finals, Team MAG demonstrated continued dominance, securing a 3-0 victory over Team Odd Taxi, after its equally commanding semi-final match ending with a 2-0 win; over at VALORANT, Team Unsigned5 triumphed with a 3-1 scoreline in final against Team Todak after pulling off a comeback in the lower bracket.

Both champions received prizes exceeding RM20,000, including RM10,000 in cash and Predator merchandise worth over RM11,000. The runners-up, Team Odd Taxi and Team Todak, were also rewarded with prizes totaling RM12,000, including RM8,000 in cash. In particular, Team MAG, Unsigned5, and Odd Taxi will advance to the APAC Predator League 2025 hosted here in Kuala Lumpur, joining competitors from 13 other regions to secure a share of USD 400,000 prize pool.

Besides that, Malaysia’s first all-female international esports team Grills Gaming has received a direct invite by Acer Malaysia to the APAC Predator League 2025 Dota 2 finals. Established in 2016, the team was best known for their gold medal victory at the 2023 Global Esports Games after beating Peru in the finals.

The event will feature live performances by award-winning Malaysian artist Aina Abdul, alongside international stars; additionally, a Coswalk Competition held during the Malaysia qualifiers will bring top cosplayers to the regional stage.
