GRYPHLINE, the global publishing arm of Hypergryph, has partnered with fintech platform Adyen to power its international payments for the global release of Arknights: Endfield. The 3D role-playing game launched simultaneously across PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android, marking GRYPHLINE’s first independent multiplatform global rollout.

GRYPHLINE integrated Adyen’s unified commerce solution to handle payments across several major markets, including Japan, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. The fintech company notably works with Big Tech companies such as Meta, eBay, and Microsoft, so that should be enough credentials to back this decision up.
Per the publisher of the new Arknights title, the partnership was driven by the platform’s “deep expertise and extensive gaming industry experience,” allowing “high authorization rates” during periods of game release and version updates, collectively referred as “high-velocity windows.” The groundwork for the launch took six months of work – during that period, both companies built customized risk rules and conducted live-testing scenarios designed to ensure platform stability and strong authorization rates from day one.
The publisher deployed two key modules from the Adyen Uplift suite: the first is Network Tokens combined with a Real-Time Account Updater, which keeps player payment details current and secure, reducing failed transactions and involuntary churn during in-game purchases; the second module is Adyen Protect Premium, acting as a fraud prevention layer that uses AI and Dynamic Identification to distinguish between genuine players and bot networks attempting to exploit the platform.
