UNIQLO Launches Additional Designs For Kaiju No. 8 UT Collection
UNIQLO’s graphic T-shirt brand, UT, is launching a new design in the Kaiju No. 8 UT collection on May 31, celebrating the anime adaptation that began airing in April.
The 12-volume Kaiju No. 8 manga series has gained global popularity with over 13 million copies sold domestically in Japan, it then gets the anime adaptation which premiered on April 13 and is distributed in real-time globally on X (Twitter) and video streaming services. UNIQLO will promote the collection during the anime’s streaming on X (Twitter) for four weeks starting May 11, ahead of the collection’s release.
The new design features a composite image of Kafka Hibino and his Kaiju No. 8 form, created by Production I.G., including fortitude levels and ID numbers. Other T-shirt designs have featured elements such as JAKDF (Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force), Monster Sweeper Inc., and various characters seen in the manga series.
The collection, priced at RM59.90 each, includes Mens Short Sleeve Graphic T-Shirts in six designs (with sizes ranging from XS to 3XL), available in all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia and online at uniqlo.com.
