wwFest Unlocked YR1, a worldwide cutting-edge virtual electronic music event honouring the one-year anniversary of VALORANT, will see Prime Gaming’s Crown Channel and Riot Games partner together once more. The festival, which will be live on Crown Channel on Twitch and YouTube on June 25, will feature performances by headliner GRYFFIN, as well as Justin Oh, Unknown Brain, Boombox Cartel, Aluna, and others from around the world.

The musical settings take you throughout the world in a day, with stops in Los Angeles, South Korea, Dubai, Mexico City, and Germany, all of which are designed to replicate the virtual world of VALORANT. The interactive festival experience inspired by VALORANT will replicate the thrill of an in-person event with a cutting-edge extended reality (XR) stage that provides viewers with an immersive and participatory experience from the comfort of their own homes, similar to the original wwFest VALORANT.

This six-hour wwFest Unlocked YR1 festival will include interactive aspects such as VALORANT gaming in Twitch chat, which will allow spectators to affect the look, feel, and vibe of each performance. GRYFFIN, an American artist, DJ, and music producer best known for remixing Desire’s Years and Years, will headline the festival. Aluna will open the night, and GRYFFIN will perform live from Los Angeles. Performing out of Dubai is Imanbek, most known for his remix of Saint Jhn’s Roses.

Unknown Brain, the anonymous DJ duo creating waves in the EDM industry, will perform in Germany, while BoomBox Cartel, best known for their self-released breakout tune B2U starring Ian Everson in 2015, will perform in Mexico. Finally, emerging star Justin Oh will perform on the South Korean stage, having released an original song for the festival, which was featured in the wwFest Unlocked YR1 teaser.

Viewers can participate in the wwFest Unlocked YR1 show by using the #wwFestArt hashtag on Twitter or Instagram to submit their VALORANT-inspired art, cosplay, or images. Fans who submit their art by June 23 will have the opportunity to have it included on the show.

wwFest Unlocked YR1 is the second iteration of Crown Channel and Riot Games’ interactive digital music festival, and it’s back by popular demand. The first-of-its-kind wwFest VALORANT, which kicked off 2021, received 3 million views and featured Grammy-nominated international artist Madeon, ARMNHMR, Moore Kismet, Ookay, and Whipped Cream.

Pokdepinion: Not gonna lie, I miss attending music festivals like this LIVE. I’m not the biggest social animal out there but sometimes live music events are just too awesome to miss out on. I will probably check this out when it drops on June 25.
