The day started with Evil Genius (EG) took on Virtus.Pro (VP) in the Lower Bracket Finals, where the winner would go on to fight with Team Secret in the Grand Final of the Kuala Lumpur Major.

Despite performing well yesterday, EG failed to beat VP, where the latter win two straight games to head directly to the Grand Final.

Proving an intense battle betwwen VP and Team Secret, the score was tied after two rounds with both winning a game each in the final game of the tournament.

In game three of the grand final, Team Secret stormed through the round, with them simply took 40 minutes to get the win. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper final if it was a one-sided match. Virtus.Pro brought themselves back to level the game, meaning a game 5 was needed to settle the score once and for all.

Round five was where it all mattered, with the winner walked away with Dota 2 Circuit Points, taking them closer in qualifying for the biggest Dota 2 tournament in the world, The International 2019. After a hard fought battle in the fifth and final round, VP showed everyone their prowess as they won the final round, taking home the crown and cash prize.

Pokdepinion: This has got to be one of the best Dota 2 Major around. I was totally shocked that some of the teams faltered in the early rounds of the tournament.
