Tencent’s mobile free-to-play MOBA title Honor of Kings has launched today for iOS and Android in Southeast Asia (including Malaysia), Japan, Korea, Latin America, North America, and Europe, as the game officially debuts globally after its original launch in China back in November 2015 under its Chinese title “王者荣耀”. As part of the global launch, players can now access all 85 launch Heroes for a limited time, including the newly added Sun Ce. Up to 28 Heroes and 21 Skins can be unlocked through in-game activities. The developer, Level Infinite, says more heroes and skins will arrive in the coming months via “collaborations with global and regionally relevant brands and celebrities.”

From June 29, 13 teams from various regions will compete in the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 Tournament at Sunway Velocity Mall in Kuala Lumpur, vying for a share of the $300,000 USD prize pool and spots in the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason Esports World Cup. The Midseason tournament will feature the top 12 teams globally, competing for a $3,000,000 USD prize pool.

Pokdepinion: Pretty surprised to find out this game hasn’t been released globally before, knowing lots of Malaysians already plays the game for years.
